Correos gifts pilgrims the Guide to the Trees of the French Way

Correos has launched a new initiative aimed at pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago: the Guide to the Trees of the French Way, a free publication inviting walkers to discover the natural richness along the most iconic route to Compostela.

The guide provides detailed information about the most representative tree species found along the stages of the French Way, including their history, characteristics, and location.
Its goal is to encourage a more mindful and sustainable journey, connecting pilgrims with the biodiversity of the landscapes they travel through.

Support services for pilgrims

In addition to this initiative, Correos reinforces its commitment to the Camino by offering a wide range of support services for pilgrims, including backpack transport, bicycle shipping, luggage storage, and parcel delivery at the end of the route.

The postal company also provides walkers with a database of more than 4,000 updated accommodations along the main Jacobean routes, as well as practical information on stages, travel tips, and points of interest.

Through these actions, Correos strengthens its role as an ally of the pilgrim, promoting a more sustainable and nature-connected way of traveling in harmony with the spirit of the Camino de Santiago.
