About this route

The Primitive Way is the oldest route of the Camino de Santiago, used by King Alfonso II in the 9th century. With 320 kilometers from Oviedo to Santiago de Compostela, it crosses the beautiful landscapes of Asturias and Galicia, passing through Lugo. It is a mountainous and challenging route that offers an authentic and less crowded experience, ideal for experienced pilgrims.
